The Keefer Suites | Designer Award-Winning Loft

Very nice and spacious apartment, nice, modern and stylish interior. But it would have been better to know the near by area, as we are a family with kids and found out, that the eastern blocks are the centre of Vancouvers drug scene. Really hard reality, especially if you start your walk to Gastown in the evening with your kids!!So, keep this in mind, if you are aware of this, the stay in this place is fine!

Unfortunately we arrived to a unit that had not been cleaned. There is actually no central AC and it was extremely hot. More than 80 degrees inside. We had our dog and could not stay because of the heat. Management sent cleaners right away, but even that seemed like the unit would not get the attention needed. We were reimbursed for the one night, but our concert plans were ruined and we had to drive the 4 hours back home. The idea of the elevator opening into the unit is cool, but safety is definitely compromised. We were going to exit and the elevator opened up with a person in it (right in the apartment). The location is not safe, drug use and transients all around the area. We left nothing in our vehicle knowing it would likely be prowled. The cost is much too high. We did appreciated the communication with the management company.
